What I write about
The articles here concentrate on the mechanisms underneath the clicks: how filter context and context transition actually work, why a star schema makes DAX shorter, and which Power Query steps quietly break query folding. Those are the places where copying a formula from a forum answer stops working as soon as your model changes shape.
How I work
- Every DAX and Power Query snippet is run against a sample model in Power BI Desktop before it is published. If it does not return the stated result, it does not ship.
- Version-dependent behaviour is stated explicitly and linked to the Microsoft documentation so you can check it against your own build.
- When a feature is renamed, deprecated or superseded, the article is revised and its review date is updated rather than left to drift.
Corrections and topic requests
If a formula fails on your model, or a step assumes something you don't have, that is a bug in the article — send it over and it gets fixed. Topic requests are read too; the queue is driven by what readers keep getting stuck on.
